Supernatural Work Life

Rich in Every Way

One day I was thinking of all the bad news on TV.

“It’s just one view they’re presenting” I told myself.

And I ached for God’s perspective on events, asking Him to “grow my sense of being seated in heavenly places.” (Ephesians 2:6)

Then I realised that He’s already doing that and thanked Him for it. And I told myself, “don’t ask for something when He’s already at work doing it.”

You see, thanking Him from a place of ‘knowing’ is superior to asking from a place of ‘need’. For if we keep asking for what we already have, we are choosing poverty.

It’s like asking for food when the table in front of us is laden with every morsel we could ever wish for.

Thanking God for being rich is the road to receiving the ‘abundant life’ that Christ has won for us all. Asking in poverty merely gives our enemy a foothold to ‘kill, steal and destroy’. (John 10:10, Ephesians 4:27)

Let’s not do that!

Instead, join me today in thanking God that we are rich in every way in Christ. (Philippians 4:19)

And let’s keep thanking Him everyday!

Faith Pioneering, Kingdom Business

Pioneers Don’t Look Back

If we are going somewhere we haven’t been before, the likelihood is we’ll need to do things we’ve not done before. So, looking back at old ways won’t help at all. It brought paralysis to Lot’s wife!

Jesus, the pioneer and perfector of the Christian faith didn’t even look back to the good things.

“He [Jesus] did not devise a master plan for His destiny based on
previously successful works and strategies;
He received His destiny by cultivating the Master relationship based on love.”

This Critical Perspective is crucial for the faith pioneering journey and includes 3 essential states in this order:

  1. Intimacy
  2. Presence
  3. Alignment

Without them we’re stuck, and the only way is back, which is an unfulfilling prospect.

So, let’s keep looking forward to fulfil our pioneering call

Kingdom Business, Supernatural Work Life

Free to be me

God has created each one of us to be unique, like no one else, anywhere!

But that is not the way in our fallen world.

Here on earth, systems produce sameness

Yet, in God’s original plan, Eden was a place of rich, unique, creative expression.

And that is possible again today, as we relate to God as our Father, through Christ.

“Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”

You see, if I’m in relationship with a system that makes me conform to its image,
then in it’s image I shall be.

Likewise, if I’m in relationship with my Father who enables me to be the person he created me to be, then that unique person I shall be.

I will be free to be me!

If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”

In which relationship are you today?

Reflections

Enduring All Things

Cherry blossom – summer’s on the way!

“When it seems as though you are facing nothing but difficulties see it as an opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can!

For you know that when your faith is tested it stirs up power within you to endure all things.

And then as your endurance grows even stronger it will release perfection into every part of your being until there is nothing missing and nothing lacking.”

James 1:2-4 TPT

Beyond Limits

When faith is pushed to the limit of our endurance and we keep going, in a humbled state of ‘not I but Christ’ (having nothing left to give) we enter God’s unlimited sphere.

Here we break the ‘sound barrier like a super-sonic jet’ and smoothly accelerate forward powered by His mighty Wind.

‘Being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience.’ Colossians 1:11

‘I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.’ Galatians 2:20

‘God gives the Spirit without limit’. John 3:34

Lost Light

Comparing ourselves to others will steal our unique identity.

By this behaviour, common to all, the shadow of idolatry
darkens God’s revelation-light from our lives.

This leaves us barren of knowing who we really are
and what our true purpose on earth is.

Jesus said, “I am the light of the world.”

He is also your revelation-light today!

God's Presence, Kingdom revival

Top Priority

“Walk in my presence and be thou perfect.”

God’s presence is indispensable for bringing the culture of heaven
to our places of influence.

We cannot achieve the all-important kingdom perspective without the King!

Therefore its cultivation with Him should be our top priority at all times.

Prayer of the heart alone (not of the head or understanding)
brings us into God’s presence, and maintained without interruption

This is the stuff of personal, regional, national
and international revival, no less!

“The consciousness of God is the spirit of revival”

Colossal Wonders

Worldly systems are huge and oppressive when I use my reason or smallness of mind. But with my spiritual senses* they shrink, as I am set free into the colossal wonders of Christ’s unlimited higher reality.

God “hates confined spaces”

When I allow the world to crowd in all I see is problems. It’s the biggest thing, like a dark cloud over my whole life. But when I allow God to ‘cover me’, He is all I sense, His unlimited eternal reality, vastly bigger than my earthly experience.
There I am immensely free.

I am limited on earth
But unlimited by heaven

* Did you know? We all have spiritual senses that match our 5 natural ones:
sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch. These help us to perceive the natural and spiritual world around us. Ask Jesus to guide you into the spiritual wonders of His choosing for you today. Have fun!

Unlimited Increase

It’s not the noisy things we shout
That reflect God’s whereabouts.
But the small, quiet tones.
10%, that’s all we own.

Then God ‘writes’ His-story,
90% of the glory.
Unlimited increase,
Wonders unleashed.

“A small thing is a small thing,
but faithfulness in
the small things is a great thing.”
