Pioneers Don’t Look Back

If we are going somewhere we haven’t been before, the likelihood is we’ll need to do things we’ve not done before. So, looking back at old ways won’t help at all. It brought paralysis to Lot’s wife!

Jesus, the pioneer and perfector of the Christian faith didn’t even look back to the good things.

“He [Jesus] did not devise a master plan for His destiny based on
previously successful works and strategies;
He received His destiny by cultivating the Master relationship based on love.”

This Critical Perspective is crucial for the faith pioneering journey and includes 3 essential states in this order:

  1. Intimacy
  2. Presence
  3. Alignment

Without them we’re stuck, and the only way is back, which is an unfulfilling prospect.

So, let’s keep looking forward to fulfil our pioneering call

Living for the more

Most of us spend our time in just 5% or less of what’s possible in Christ. This is because we get our security from what we already know.

And I sense God saying,
‘There is so much more. Be hungry, for I’m ready to take you
beyond your impossible and into and my possible.’

Faith dreams, hearing God and courage to step out are just some key ingredients to entering God’s world, His kingdom. Then we can soak this tired old planet in His amazing love and righteousness.

Don’t live for anything less!

Jesus said,
‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’
(Matthew 19:26)
